This is unbelievable footage of the new Lowrance Livesight. Watch the video from beginning to end...dropping an 1/8 jig, and watching walleyes come to it and bite and get caught. I can't wait for my transducer to arrive!!! Thanks Mark O'Neill

Structure-Fishing with Mark O'Neill
Well here is the first post and all I have to say after using the Lowrance Livesight downsview while vertical jigging for walleyes on Lake of the Woods for a week is that it is an eye opening technology. I am also impressed with the range and target separation, as I can see fish off to the sides that I could not see with sonar and was actually able to tempt them into coming after my jig from a distance, I never had that much ability before. Shown here is me dropping a 1/8 jig/minnow and a few walleyes going after it, with one being hooked and then brought to the surface and all in 27 seconds. But I have to admit the highlight of the week was when using LIvesight and all of a sudden I saw this huge image coming in from the side and it went right after my 1/8 ounce jig w/minnow. My rod went thump and I was engaged with a lengthy battle with the largest pike I have ever encountered. Well my St. Croix Legend Elite ES63MXF performed like a champ, but ultimately we got the monster pike up just about to the side of the boat, but then it did one last plunge under the boat and my 6 pound P-Line CXX line caught the edge of the bottom of the boat and broke. But all I have to say is I have never seen that "wide" of a view under the water before or had the warning that a mamouth fish that size was about to hit my jig. Works for me!! #Lowrance #StCroixRods #PLine
